TXT’s Yeonjun Chooses Middle School As The Time In His Life He Wants To Experience All Over Again—Here’s Why

It was a memorable time.

TXT‘s Yeonjun may only be 21 years old, but he already has more life experiences than most people his age. In an interview with Eric Nam on the “Daebak Show,” he recounted his memories and named the one he wants to relive.

While Taehyun chose the group’s debut showcase as the period in his life that he’d like to return to, Yeonjun picked an even earlier time—his middle school days. Korean students typically enter middle school when they are 12 or 13 years old and graduate three years later.

From my middle school days…I’d like to recount my school days.

TXT’s Yeonjun Pre-Debut

He’s been a K-Pop trainee since 2014. At 15 years old, towards the end of middle school, he had to juggle intense training with everything else. The simplicity of his earlier school life was certainly attractive.

I was so happy when attending school. I can’t experience those moments again. They are very precious to me.

It was a period that was filled with many happy memories. Yeonjun agreed with Eric Nam’s sentiments that he “had fun” during this time.

I don’t know, I don’t know why I enjoyed going to school that much back then, but I really want to experience it one more time too.
