We’re slowly learning more about ADOR‘s new girl group NewJeans every day.
The five-member group, produced by Min Hee Jin, hasn’t even formally debuted. Still, they’ve already garnered interest from their impressive pre-releases, dropping two songs, “Attention” and “Hype Boy,” and releasing multiple music videos.
So far, the group’s styling has followed the late 90s and early 2000s aesthetic, creatively drawing inspiration from the technology at the time through their interactive app, Phoning, which is modeled after early cell phone models such as a Nokia phone.
Their outfits revitalize the late 90s and early 2000s looks, giving them a fresh take fitting for a brand new idol group.
The group’s oldest member, Minji, has been posting pictures in casual, laidback outfits with trendy printed graphics.
For one photo shoot, Minji switched up her style and wore a one-shoulder long-sleeve top with ivy green $1,990 USD Jacquard shorts from Prada.
The outfit’s earth tone color palette is on-trend, as the trend-watching company WGSN named earth tones the colors to watch in early 2022. The colors hint at the 1970s fashion era and give Minji a unique, high-fashion look.
Minji is not the only idol to have worn the Prada shorts; TWICE‘s Nayeon also rocked the designer piece in a completely different way.
Nayeon recently earned attention for her unique outfits during her recent “POP!” promotions. From her Louis Vuitton one-piece made entirely from a towel…
…to her Champion two-piece top made of a simple Champion hoodie, there was no limit to her styling team’s creative reimagining.
With the Champion top, Nayeon wore the same Jacquard shorts from Prada, except she wore a bright red pair to match the Champion top.
The bright, eye-catching outfit perfectly complemented the upbeat song, and Nayeon effortlessly pulled off the colorful look!
Both idols looked incredible in their uniquely styled outfits!
