Taiwanese people made popsicles and found something horrific inside

Three art students sought out to raise awareness about pollution by creating popsicles using water from local sources.

For their project, titled Polluted Water Popsicles, they collected water from 100 different locations in Taiwan.

They froze the collected water into popsicles and then cast them in resin to preserve them.

Looking closely at the “treats” reveals the ugly truth about the quality of the water.

Each popsicle had a specially designed wrapper showing where the water was from.

The project was intended to raise awareness about water pollution and the effect it has on the world.

It was nominated for the Young Pin Design Award and featured in the New Generation of Design Exhibition in Taipei.
