The “Running Man” Cast Is Planning On Expanding Their Content Outside TV, Here’s Why

It looks like “Running Man” is far from finished.

Running Man members Yoo Jae Suk and Ji Suk Jin recently visited their fellow castmate Kim Jong Kook‘s apartment for his YouTube channel 김종국 GYM JONG KOOK. The setup was much more modest than their usual production, and the YouTube newbie Yoo Jae Suk had his fair share of complaints.

Still, the members were excited to see each other and gathered to announce that they were working on new original content with all the Running Man members! The three had been discussing the idea for months, and they specifically said that it would be something made purely by the members for their fans.

All three of them also agreed that they would try to include as many ideas as possible from all 7 members and make the project happen regardless of the platform on which it would be released.

Yoo Jae Suk also briefly discussed why the idea had initially come about, mainly due to the changing times and how difficult it was to maintain a variety series on terrestrial television nowadays. The shooting schedules were brutal, and condensing hours of content into smaller chunks was extremely taxing on the entire staff.

They were excited to adapt their content to the changing times.

Although there was no specific release date, fans could be excited since the plans were already underway.

Lastly, the members reassured fans that they would only do it if all Running Man members would participate.

Who knows, perhaps this could also be an opportunity for former members such as Lee Kwang Soo or Gary to appear as well!
