… to how Han felt about painting his nails for the first time.

Han explains that simply to change things up, he got a gel manicure for his nails, painting them black.

The idol admitted that it felt strange at first to have them painted since he was only used to changing his hair color.

But he appreciated them once he saw how visible they were on stage.

And, of course, his fans loved the look on the idol too.

Definitely hoping to see him try it again soon.

Maybe even with different colors and designs.

And Han then added that once he had adjusted to the nails, he felt like it was almost a fresh start for him.

Likening it to how people sometimes drastically change their hairstyle after a bad breakup to try and feel like a new person.

Which was an idea Bang Chan didn’t think he’d ever heard before.

But Bang Chan agreed that he liked painted nails since he had tried them for the concept for “Thunderous.”

And although he had taken them off after, he has thought about getting black gel nails in the future.

Han offered advice to Bang Chan, saying that he should only get some of his nails painted.

Because when he had his done, some of the nails cracked and even bled.

So Han suggests just getting “one or two nails done in an accent color.”

To which, some of his fans on Twitter disagreed, believing that his nails shouldn’t have cracked and definitely shouldn’t have bled.

But mostly, fans felt proud that Bang Chan and Han could so easily discuss the topic, not demonstrating any sort of toxic masculinity.
