This photo book is set to release on August 12, however, the design and artwork of the photo book have started to gain much attention for looking quite similar to BTS’s albums.

Not only were the designs similar, the title of the photo books also raised eyebrows in the BTS fandom. The titles of the photo books were Persona: ON and Ego: OFF, which coincide with BTS’s MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA and MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 album concepts. Their most recent album also include song titles such as “ON”, “Intro: Persona”, and “Outro: Ego.”
What the hell are you doing Starship. This is not a coincidence, you plagarized BTS's works. From the titles (PERSONA (bts album title), ON and EGO (bts songs), to the similar 'Persona' font as in BTS's album, to BTS's LIGHTS album cover.@STARSHIPent @WJSN_Cosmic #BTS #WJSN pic.twitter.com/Z2olbUza6I

The Cosmic Girls’ EGO: OFF photo book design also look similar to BTS’s Japanese album Lights.
Hello, as much as we love BTS inspiring other idols, this can be seen as plagiarism of MAP OF THE SOUL: Persona, On, Ego, and Lights. Please, consider changing WJSN photo book concept, or at least give credit where it's due. Thank you. https://t.co/pIcvYwiFNz pic.twitter.com/AAnPTNaFbs

Fans feel that these titles and designs are too similar to be a coincidence and have started to reach out to Starship about this matter. They hope that people will contact the company instead of blaming the group as it would have most likely been the decision of the company to go through with this concept.
WTF Am I seeing this right? What's wrong with WJSN'S company? They physically copied BTS' Persona and Lights. THEIR ALBUMS ARE LITERAL CARBON COPIES OF BTS

Fans are divided about this issue and what the boundaries are for what is and isn’t plagiarism.
in light of the plagiarism accusations (which are kinda well founded imo), please remember that wjsn themselves didnt do this. it was down to the company. don't harass the girls from uuju just because their PR and designer teams lost 500 braincells
