Chinese Girls Are Getting Tons of Plastic Surgery to Become Internet Famous

Plastic surgery is on the rise in China as girls are resorting to getting under the knife to achieve Internet fame.

In recent years it has become more and more common for Chinese girls to go under the knife to have a shot at Internet fame.

In the live streaming industry, popular streamers are known to earn up to $20,000 a month but it’s no easy task as the live streaming world is quickly becoming more and more competitive.

Hopeful women in China are not giving up on their road to Internet fame. Instead, they are getting plastic surgery.

Chinese streamer Daene, was in the spotlight a few years ago because she completely transformed herself into a living Barbie.

When Danae was only 15 years old, she had already transformed into what Weibo called her, the living barbie.

Plastic surgery completely changed her life, and before she knew it, she was being chauffeured in luxury cars, was presented with branded perfumes daily, and earned $80,415 monthly.

Deng Qian revealed that she has gotten over a dozen procedures that have changed her facial features, enlarged her breasts, and slimmed down her arms.

Deng Qian has now achieved her desired appearance.

Deng Qian’s goal is to earn $90,000 this year, just by endorsing plastic surgery procedures online to over 23,000 Weibo followers. She talked about her changes in an interview with the New York Times.

Chinese society values a pretty face above anything else… If you’re not pretty, nobody will care about you, and nobody will follow you online,”
– Deng Qian

Deng Qian is not alone in this, as hundreds of young Chinese women have taken the same incredibly drastic measures, and it’s unlikely to change anytime soon.
