BTS’s Jungkook Dishes On Directing Videos And How It All Started

He revealed the reason why he gravitates toward video work.

BTS‘s resident director, Jungkook, has shared new details about his video work.

The Golden Maknae released his first self-directed Golden Closet Film (G.C.F.) in 2017. So far there are at least 5 films in his travel vlog series: G.C.F in Tokyo, G.C.F in Osaka, G.C.F in Saipan, G.C.F in Newark VHS ver., and G.C.F in USA.

Jungkook also creates other behind the scenes videos, like G.C.F 3J @2018 MMA Practice. His artistry and editing skills never fail to impress fans.

In a new interview, Entertainment Weekly asked Jungkook how he got into directing videos. He said that it all started with his photography hobby.

He feels that photos require viewers to process and “translate” what they’re seeing, but videos are understood more quickly.

Jungkook said that’s the reason why he himself likes videos.

Afterward, Jin and J-Hope complimented Jungkook’s skills, and Jimin mentioned a G.C.F travel video that he particularly likes.
