Yoon Jisung Announces He’ll Be Enlisting Soon

“I’ll be careful to return healthily.”

In conjunction with the April 25 release of his special album Dear Diary, former Wanna One member Yoon Jisung took to his fan cafe to let his fans know that he’ll be enlisting for his mandatory military service very soon.

On May 14 I will be enlisting… [BABAL have] suffered a lot with farewells this year, so I’m sorry for that more than anything.

– Yoon Jisung

Even though his fans, BABAL, have also had to deal with Wanna One’s disbandment this year, Jisung has confidence that they will get through everything together.

Still, I’m not worried about BABAL. I think the BABAL who’ve watched over me until now are hard and strong, so I have no worries. Also, BABAL, don’t worry about me. I’ll be careful to return healthily.

To wrap up his letter he assured fans that they’d have plenty of time to see each other at his upcoming fan meetings.

Since we still have many days to see each other, let’s say everything else at the fan meeting… We’ll meet again tomorrow. Thank you. Always.

His full letter is below:

Hello. This is Yoon Jisung.

Did you all have a good day?

There’s something that I want to tell to BABAL first, so I’m writing in the café like this.

On May 14 I will be enlisting. I think there will be BABAL that are surprised and BABAL that will accept it well.

I’m sorry to BABAL above everything..

You’ve suffered a lot with farewells this year, so I’m sorry for that more than anything.

Still, I’m not worried about BABAL. I think the BABAL who’ve watched over me until now are hard and strong, so I have no worries.

Also, BABAL, don’t worry about me.

I’ll be careful to return healthily.

There are a great many things I want to say, but don’t forget that I’m very thankful and always sorry.

Since we still have many days to see each other, let’s say everything else at the fan meeting. I’m sorry to be saying this before the album is released.

Still, I wanted to tell BABAL first.

We’ll see each other again tomorrow.

Thank you. Always.
