VIXX’s Hongbin Decides To Cancel Livestream Activities After Controversy

It might be for the best

After a shocking weekend where VIXX‘s Hongbin made negative comments about other K-Pop groups during a livestream while intoxicated, the idol has ultimately decided to cancel his streaming activities indefinitely.

Since the controversial livestream – where he made derogatory comments towards fellow K-Pop artists such as SHINee, INFINITE, Red Velvet, EXO, and more – the VIXX vocalist has made a number of apology videos.  VIXX’s company, Jellyfish Entertainment, also made an official apology for his actions.

Despite this, however, Hongbin made the announcement of his cancellation on the streaming site on March 3, since fans are still very upset about his actions.

I’ve come to the decision that it is the right thing to stop all of my game broadcast activities for the time being, until I’ve taken enough time to reflect on my poor actions, rethink things through, and establish a direction for myself. I want to thank the viewers who made these game broadcasts possible for the past year, hanging out with me and having fun; once again, I apologize for showing you such a poor side of me.

— Hongbin

This comes just after the year anniversary of Hongbin starting his livestreaming channel, which is what he was celebrating when he went online and made the controversial comments.
