T.O.P’s first curated collaboration with Sotheby’s Hong Kong boasts at least $17.5 million in sales

BIGBANG’s T.O.P sets a new record for his first curated collection with Sotheby’s in Hong Kong. 

On October 3rd, Sotheby’s Hong Kong launched their first curatorial collaboration with a young private collection which featured an auction curated by T.O.P. The event was introduced as the “#TTTOP” sale and managed to raise a total of at least $17.5 million. The highest of which was Jean-Michel Basquiat’s “Infantry. It was recognised as a success after it launched a new auction record for artists.

T.O.P posted the successful outcome of the event on his personal account and tagged it as “#Success, “ #GreatSuccess” and “#TTTOPxSothebys.” 

Meanwhile, part of the sales will be donated to the Asian Cultural Council to fund grants for more artists and scholars.
