The amazing dancers from Street Woman Fighter are officially going on tour, but the news has been received negatively for a surprising reason.

Mnet recently revealed that the 8 dance crews from the competition program would be grouping together for their upcoming Street Woman Fighter ON THE STAGE nationwide tour. The tour will kick off in Seoul on November 20 and will eventually make its way to Busan, Gwangju, Daegu, Changwon, and Incheon—where the ladies will partake in a total of 13 different shows.

It was further revealed that each concert would reportedly run for a total of 2 hours, with each of the 8 dance crews showing off their amazing performances for their fans.

The ₩120,000 KRW (about $101 USD) tickets were sold out within a minute of the opening of ticket sales, further proving the immense popularity of the show. However, it seems that the dance crews will not be seeing much of the profit from their concert sales due to their reportedly low compensations.

According to The Fact, industry insiders revealed that each dance crew would only be paid ₩40.0 million KRW (about $33,800 USD) total. While this number may seem reasonable at first glance, the break downs will have you thinking otherwise.

Given that the dance crews will be participating in 13 different shows, this means that each crew will be receiving about ₩3.00 million KRW (about $2,540 USD) per show. To break it down even further, that number has to be split between each dance crew member. Since each dance crew has anywhere from 5-8 members, this would mean that each dancer would only be receiving around ₩375,000 KRW (about $317 USD).

This number gets even lower for the 12 member dance crew PROWDMON, whose dancers would only be receiving roughly around ₩250,000 KRW (about $211 USD) for their time touring.

And while the public expressed their disappointment in the low wages for the participating dance crews, the Street Woman Fighter dancers reportedly shared their excitement for the upcoming tour, as they get a chance to reciprocate the love they received from their fans.
