On February 5th, the “I Love You” singer took to his Instagram page to share the exciting news with his fans. With a beautiful photo, he wrote a lengthy message to his fans in Korean, while also leaving a message in the comments of the photo in English. Here is what he had to say.

Hello Everyone,
It certainly has been a long time hasn’t it? I hope that this letter finds you healthy and safe despite the world coping with the coronavirus pandemic. The reason for this post is not only to say hello, but to share with you some exciting news. Tonight I will be getting married to my forever partner, friend and love who has helped me grow to have a different depth of understanding and meaning of love! I’ve come to realize that love is not only shared when circumstances are easy, but that true love is most felt when enduring through some of life’s greatest struggles!

He then shares that his original wedding plans were interrupted, but that he adapted and made things work out.

Our original plan was to be married back in June of 2020, but due to the outbreak of the coronavirus our plans came to a sudden halt leaving us no choice but to cancel all of our plans. Though it was difficult, it has a become a great opportunity for me to do inventory on my priorities and what it means to be married. In hindsight I firmly believe that this was a part of God’s plan to provide me time to consider deeply the importance and magnitude of this commitment.

The singer doesn’t lose hope, however, and shares his optimistic mindset on the whole situation.

It is our hope that once this pandemic subsides, we can celebrate with our friends and family and share in the goodness of God’s grace in our lives through a proper wedding celebration. But, we are preparing to take our vows and be married to one another tonight. I would have loved to celebrate our marriage in the presence of our closest friends and family. But without knowing what the future holds we felt it was finally the time for us to be married in the presence of God.

Tim ends the message by sharing his love and gratitude for his fans.
