“Show Me The Money” And “High School Rapper” Contestant Attempted To Take Their Own Life, But Was Stopped By Their Roommate

An 18-year-old individual who competed on both Show Me The Money and High School Rapper attempted to take their own life earlier today, but was stopped.

According to several reports from iMBC and iNews24, an 18-year-old rapper who competed on Show Me The Money and High School Rapper attempted to take their own life this morning in their officetel around 4:20 am KST. The rapper was stopped by their roommate, who was asleep in the same room. The roommate was able to extinguish the fire, however parts of the officetel and their belongings were burned. As of now, both individuals are said to have no health issues.

Police officers were dispatched to the scene after receiving a report, and both the rapper and their roommate voluntarily headed over to the police station to give their statement before returning home.

We will decide whether or not to charge the individual for arson-related charges after figuring out the exact details of this incident.
