It’s not uncommon for K-Pop idols to “flirt” with fans, delivering iconic pickup lines.
In fact, it’s almost expected as part of “fan service.” Fan service is basically any actions done to please one’s fans. This may include aegyo, showing off muscles, and, of course, mild flirting.
Yet, P1Harmony‘s Intak has a unique way of flirting with P1ece (the group’s fandom).
Recently, Intak went on Weverse and interacted with P1ece. One interaction is getting more attention…
Intak noticed a P1ece’s post that was sort of like a poem but likened the object of their affection (Intak) to a canker sore. Yes, you read that right.
P1ece: Intak-a you’re like a canker sore
Why because you’re always on my mind
you’re my canker sore boy💕
Intak: You’re my canker sore girl😘
Sure enough, he returned the sentiments and even included a kissy emoji.
By the way, in case you are curious what a canker sore exactly is. According to the Mayo Clinic, “Canker sores, also called aphthous ulcers, are small, shallow lesions that develop on the soft tissues in your mouth or at the base of your gums. Unlike cold sores, canker sores don’t occur on the surface of your lips, and they aren’t contagious. They can be painful, however, and can make eating and talking difficult.”
Now, we are not exactly sure why someone would refer to someone, especially someone they like, as a cancer sore. We can only assume that it may be because, like when it’s present, it’s all you can think about (as it is irritating, though), and it’s not something that you can easily get rid of (you usually have to wait it out for like a week or two).
While most times, fans may get jealous when their fellow fans get flirted with by their bias, P1eces just wanted to know what exactly was up with Intak and his choice of flirtation. And they were not alone.
P1Harmony’s leader Keeho also was on Weverse and saw everything.
Keeho even said that he would talk to Intak himself to find out why he called someone a “canker sore!” He is a true leader.
In Intak’s defense, he responded to a fan’s post!
