“I-LAND” Cleaning Crew Member Confirmed To Have Coronavirus, Mnet Cancels All Schedules

All trainees are in self-isolation now.

A member of the cleaning crew that was contracted to clean up the I-LAND set has been confirmed to have the Coronavirus.

According to an exclusive report from Dispatch on August 14, cleaning crew member “A” visited the set of I-LAND on August 12 to clean up. At the time of their visit, they were wearing a mask and there was nobody else at the set location.

In response to the positive test, Mnet has decided to cancel all schedules related to the broadcast of I-LAND. For safety reasons, all of the current Top 12 cast members and the staff for the show have been tested for the Coronavirus. All schedules for the cast members have been cancelled, and they are currently self-isolating. The production team is currently awaiting the test results.
