Kyungri Parts Ways With Star Empire Entertainment After 7 Years Together

She first joined in 2012 for 9MUSES.

Kyungri‘s exclusive contract with Star Empire has officially come to an end as of July 31. Kyungri had first joined the agency when she was recruited as a new member for 9MUSES back in 2012. She gained lots of love for her playful-yet-sexy image as an artist, actor, and tv personality.

Star Empire explained that after a long discussion, they decided they will not be renewing with Kyungri and reflected on their 7 years together. They vowed to continually cheer Kyungri on in her future and thanked the fans who have been with them over the years.

Hello. This is Star Empire.

We would like to announce that as of July 31, 2019, our exclusive contract with artist Kyungri has expired.

As the expiration of her contract came closer we had a long discussion over her contract, and after much consideration, we decided not to renew.

Ever since Kyungri joined 9MUSES in 2012, she has worked harder than anyone and had formed a precious relationship with our company.

We would like to sincerely thank Kyungri for working with us for the past 7 years since 2012.

We would also like to thank the fans who have supported and loved Kyungri while she was under our label.

Although our contract has come to an end, we will continue to cheer Kyungri on in her future.

Thank you.
