Meet Chloe Kim, The 16 Year-Old Teenager Who’s The Kim Yuna of Snowboarding

Chloe Kim is a 16-year-old Korean-American Snowboarder who’s dominating the world of snowboarding and gaining attention worldwide being insanely talented.

Chloe just claimed yet another gold medal this past weekend and she’s getting rave reviews from fans of snowboarding. She’s already being called “the future of women’s snowboarding” and definitely earned this title with her performance at the Snowboard World Cup.

During a recent event in Switzerland, Chloe set the golden standard with her very first run. She received a score of 88.25/100 for her performance, a score which would have won her the event if she hadn’t beaten it on her second attempt with a score of 90.50.

This victory comes at the end of a very successful 11 months for Chloe, who won 8 consecutive gold medals last year, including wins in the Youth Winter Olympics, and the Winter X-Games.  She was even named in Forbes‘s 30 under 30 list for her incredible year.

Chloe extended her lead at the world cup circuit even more with this victory in Switzerland and is one of the world’s current gold medalists who will be competing next year at the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang.

She will be looking to continue her run of impressive performances next week at the Winter X-Games in Aspen, Colorado on the 26th of January. Go Chloe!!
