Rising star Kim Hye Yoon is set to make a special cameo in JTBC Studio‘s newest teen drama, Live On. According to reports released on the 31st of August, the young actress will be doing it as a favor to the director of Live On, as he was also the director for her previous hit drama that shot her to fame, Extraordinary You.
Kim Hye Yoon will be making her cameo early on in the series in order to help catch the eyes of viewers. Live On is a high school drama that promises to be both insightful and trendy. We have another young actress, Jung Da Bin, as our female lead. She plays Baek Ho Rang, who is the most popular person in the school. She is attacked anonymously about her past and she strives to find the culprit.
On the other hand, NU’EST‘s Hwang Minhyun takes his first leading role opposite Jung Da Bin, as Go Eun Taek, a perfectionist who is a part of the broadcasting club at school. The rest of the cast is equally as star-studded, with VICTON‘s Choi Byungchan and former MOMOLAND‘s Yeonwoo as the supporting cast.
The drama is a collaboration between JTBC and the famous Playlist Studio, in charge of Love Playlist and Eighteen, two of the hottest webdrama series online. Fans of Eighteen will be glad to see a reprise of the set in Seoyeon High School in this new drama as well.
On the other hand, Kim Hye Yoon is set to appear in Snowdrop (working title), reuniting her with the director and writer from SKY Castle. Live On‘s first episode will drop on the 11th of September.
