K-Pop’s Most Popular Music Videos Of 2016 According To Youtube

TWICE and GFRIEND have something to celebrate as they make the list of Most Popular YouTube music videos in South Korea

YouTube released its year-end results for popular videos in 2016 – including the Top 10 Most Popular Music Videos in South Korea. TWICE and G-Friend scored supremely well on the list  – TWICE’s “Cheer Up” and “TT” ranked in first and third place, while GFRINED’s “Rough” and “Navillera” ranked in second and tenth respectively. TWICE and GFRIEND debuted in 2015, and have achieved incredible success over their career thus far!

The news bodes well for the girl groups – whose popularity skyrocketed in 2016. TWICE took home victories, launched a tour, and landed an endorsement deal this year; GFRIEND also rose in ranks and was given the chance to perform at many year-end events.
