When it comes to the world of K-Pop, contrary to the beliefs of many people, netizens are actually obsessed with watching their favorite idols interact and showcase their support for each other. Although it doesn’t happen often, events like KCON are the perfect opportunities to see these interactions, and the recent event was no different!
During the two-day event, idols came together to perform and interact with fans in-person for the first time since the pandemic happened. One of those groups to perform was Stray Kids.
As expected, the group stole the hearts of fans worldwide with their performances that showcased the members’ talent, visuals, and insane on-stage presence.
Alongside netizens, it seems like fellow idols were cheering on the group. In particular, two groups gained attention for showcasing their STAY status, and it’s none other than fellow JYP Entertainment group ITZY and ATEEZ!
Since all the groups debuted as part of the fourth generation, netizens have loved seeing the interactions between them all. ITZY and Stray Kids have always gained a lot of love for their sibling-like friendship.
Similarly, the friendship between Stray Kids and ATEEZ has become a lot more public in recent years not only for the bond between Wooyoung and Changbin but also after both teams appeared on the recent series of Kingdom.
In a video, a netizen shared that ATEEZ was watching Stray Kids performing from the crowds, and when they moved further in, they had the cutest interactions with the members. Some even joked that they wanted to know who the lucky fans were that got the interactions until realizing it was ATEEZ.
Even after both groups had performed, netizens saw Hongjoong adorably going up to fellow leader Bang Chan for a high-five.
Similarly, while walking to their spot, ITZY couldn’t stop dancing and singing along to Stray Kids’ performance. Although they might tease each other, JYP artists are known for supporting each other.
Chaeryoung particularly caught the attention of fans when a close-up video of the idol dancing to “God’s Menu” went viral.
When the videos were shared, netizens couldn’t get over the interactions between the idols. While many couldn’t stop gushing over the friendship between the groups, others loved how the groups were shutting down fanwars with their interactions.
Even though netizens believe fourth-generation groups are afraid to interact, these three groups have shown that it couldn’t be further from the truth. In a stressful industry like K-Pop, having friends and other idols for support is so important, and netizens love seeing the bond between groups.
