GFRIEND Will Take Strict Legal Action Against Malicious Posts

Source Music has decided to take protect their artists by taking a firm stance against malicious posts.

Source Music has announced that they will be taking legal against against all malicious posts written about GFRIEND.

 

The agency has gathered many of the malicious posts pertaining to GFRIEND, and will be filing charges against the netizens responsible.

“Through constant monitoring, we have collected evidence on malicious posts and comments of some netizens who have no regard for the truth. Posting repeatedly on portal sites and online communities, they have harmful intent towards the members of GFRIEND. We plan to file criminal complaints with law firm Gamwoo as our legal representative.” — Source Music

 

They have decided to take a strong approach against malicious posts to protect the rights of their artists.

“This legal response is intended to protect the personal rights of the members of GFRIEND and for them to show better promotions in the future; we emphasize that these measures are being taken against the minority of malicious Internet users who continue to insult and harass GFRIEND.” — Source Music

 

Source Music will continue to monitor netizen comments, and maintain their strong stance by taking all legal measures possible against any malicious content that may be posted in the future.

“Hello, this is Source Music.

We are disclosing our position in regards to the malicious posts and comments  that have been spreading online and through social media about GFRIEND, which included spreading of rumors, personal attacks, sexual harassment, slander, and defamation of character.

Through constant monitoring, we have collected evidence on malicious posts and comments of some netizens who have no regard for the truth. Posting repeatedly on portal sites and online communities, they have harmful intent towards the members of GFRIEND. We plan to file criminal complaints with law firm Gamwoo as our legal representative.
