Gaon Announces The Top Albums For The 1st Half Of 2018

Here are the top artists of the year so far:

Gaon Chart has just released their reports for Top Physical Albums and Top Digital Singles for the first half of 2018.

 

For the Physical Albums Chart, BTS‘s “Love Yourself: Tear” sits at number one with over 1.7 million physical copies sold.

Meanwhile, Wanna One is at number 2 and 3 with “0+1=1 (I PROMISE YOU)” and “1÷x=1 (UNDIVIDED)”. In total, they sold a total of over 1.48 million albums.

Other artists on the list include EXO-CBX, TWICE, GOT7, NCT, Jonghyun, and Seventeen. 

 

Gaon also noted that out of the total record sales by the Top 100 best selling artists of the first half of 2018, BTS’s album sales was responsible for 25.3% of that.

Wanna One came in second with 16.7% and TWICE was 3rd with 6.1%.

 

As for Top Digital Singles, iKON‘s “Love Scenario” took the number one spot.

In second place was Jung Duk Cheol’s “Good Old Days”, followed by MOMOLAND‘s “Boom Boom”.

Melomance, Camila Cabello, Mamamoo, MoonMoon, Chungha, Roy Kim, and DEAN also made the list!
