Former BTOB Member Ilhoon Appeals His 2 Year Sentence For Marijuana Use

He disagreed with the ruling.

Former BTOB member Ilhoon, who was sentenced to prison for habitual use of marijuana, has appealed his sentence to the Seoul Central District Court. According to his representative, he did not agree with the ruling.

Previously, during the court hearing on June 10, Ilhoon was sentenced to two years in prison for habitual marijuana usage.

According to Ilhoon’s legal representatives, “The defendant is reflecting deeply on his actions. He was fearful as it was the first trial and investigation of his life. He worked in the entertainment industry at such a young age and he tried to relieve the stress in the wrong way.”

Back in December 2020, Ilhoon was accused of habitually using marijuana. Following the report, Cube Entertainment announced he would no longer be part of BTOB.
