Former After School member Lizzy (also known as Park Soo Ah) recently held an Instagram live for her fans to apologize for her drunk driving incident from this past May.
4 months following the accident, Lizzy has taken the time to formally apologize for the incident to all of her Instagram followers. The former After School member worried all of her fans with her tearful appearance, as she relayed her apologies for “disappointing everyone.”
She continued by sharing that while she originally wrote out her apology, it “didn’t seem like enough.” Lizzy also revealed her honest thoughts about her situation, stating that she feels like her “life is over.”
The former girl group member also took the time during her Instagram live to express her frustrations over the inaccuracy of the media and how they portrayed her accident.
The taxi driver didn’t get injured severely, but the media wrote articles saying he did. It seems like they want me to die.
She also pleaded with the public to forgive her, by stating that “everyone goes through a hard time at some point in their lives.”
Everyone goes through a hard time at some point in their lives. People are telling me to ‘take my own life’ regarding the situation…I know I made a mistake and I know I was in the wrong. I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.
Back on May 18, Lizzy made headlines for causing an accident after colliding into a taxi. Upon further investigation, it was reported that Lizzy had a high blood alcohol level of 0.08%, which warranted the cancellation of her drivers license. She was taken into custody, where she fully cooperated with the investigation.
The former girl group member has remained out of the spotlight since in an effort to reflect on her actions.
