Daniel Henney celebrates Oscar win for “Big Hero 6”

Daniel Henney, who voiced the character Tadashi in Disney‘s Big Hero 6, celebrated the movie’s big win this weekend with an Oscar for Best Animated Feature.

Those who have watched the movie will know Tadashi (or Teddy, in the Korean version) as the caring older brother of protagonist Hiro, voiced by Ryan Potter. Along with Potter, the cast of voice actors includes Jamie Chung, Scott Adsit, T.J. Miller, and Maya Rudolph.

To celebrate the win, Daniel Henney quickly headed to Twitter and Facebook following the award show on February 22nd. In his update, he personally expressed his sentiments for the win with a message saying, “And now… we are satisfied with our care.. and our OSCAR WIN!! So proud to be a part of this groundbreaking film… #BigHero6 #Oscar2015.”

Big Hero 6 had racked up an impressive $219 million at the box office last year, with immense success in South Korea, so it was no surprise that it was awarded Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards this week, even beating out The Lego Movie.
