Comebacks to resume after end of Lunar New Year celebration

Although many may not want the long weekend of the Lunar New Year to end, the Korean music industry is ready with a massive comeback spree.

As the online music charts manifested, songs from the 90s have been consecutively taking place at the higher ranks after the spectacular hit of TOTOGA last year. Due to such popularity, many singers and groups have been postponing their comebacks for before or after the Lunar New Year celebration.

Teen Top‘s Niel and f(x)‘s Amber have already embarked on their first solo album. Niel released his first solo album containing songs that reflect a different mood from his idol group, Teen Top. Amber too has released her first solo album with her mastered vocal talents.

VIXX is set to release their new album on February 24th. The album contains a remake of R.ef’s “Farewell Formula.” Although the boys have tried their best to keep the essence of the original song released 20 years ago, they have imbued their unique vibe into the remake. The boys hope their remake will earn the title of break-up song of the year.

Veteran boy group, Shinhwa, is to return on February 26th with full-length album, We. Their title song “Sniper” will further unveil their masculine and bold charms. According to the agency, “Compared to their previous album, you should look forward to Shinhwa’s much more charismatic performances. They are to comeback with highly mastered music.” As it is their 17th anniversary since debut, these sexy men will also hold a concert soon after their comeback.

Sexy girl group, Rainbow, is to finally comeback with their third mini-album Innocent, on February 23rd. The girls’ title song “Black Swan” is dedicated to children suffering from difficulties. The girls have already released their teaser video delivering a gloomy atmosphere.

Meanwhile, EXO, EXID, Fiestar, BIG BANG, and many more of your favourite idols have been confirmed for their imminent comeback in 2015.
