BTS’s V Reassures Fans About Feeling Sick During “Your Eyes Tell”

Here’s an update about his health.

When BTS‘s members aren’t feeling their best, ARMYs are quick to notice it and wish them well.

On July 13 at 10 PM (KST), BTS guested on the Japanese program CDTV Live to promote their new album, MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 ~ THE JOURNEY. Here they performed “Your eyes tell” for the very first time.

This b-side, composed by Jungkook, is the theme song for an upcoming Japanese film of the same name, and one of the most popular tracks on the album.

It turns out that V wasn’t feeling well that day, but you’d never know it. His angelic vocals were as clear as ever, conveying the emotion behind the lyrics.

Eagled-eyed fans noticed V clutching his stomach several times during the show…

…which made them concerned about his health.

On July 20, an ARMY reached out to V on Weverse to ask about it. “Taehyung oppa,” they wrote. “you’re clutching your stomach, but that’s not because you were unwell? You were just feeling hungry, right?”

V replied playfully, assuring fans that although there’s a story behind the incident, he’s feeling better now.

hahahahah ah, there’s a story behind this hahahaha but I’m really okay now
