BTS Ticket Prices Are Insane — Is Ticketmaster Breaking Its Own Rules?

Tickets are selling for thousands of dollars.

BTS fans have been priced out of the competition to score PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE tickets, and many are blaming Ticketmaster.

Back in August, HYBE officially canceled BTS’s 2020 MAP OF THE SOUL world tour, which had been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A month later, PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE was announced. BTS will perform at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on November 27-28 and December 1-2.

Thousands of fans, especially those who had purchased tickets for the world tour, had hoped to attend PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE. Unfortunately, between technical difficulties and bulk purchases allegedly made by scalpers, some fans were unable to make their dream a reality.

Some MAP OF THE SOUL ticketholders, who had received special codes from Ticketmaster, say those codes were faulty and that tickets were withheld.

Now, ARMY is calling attention to astronomical resale prices. The lowest verified resale prices for “nosebleed” seats are currently $400+ USD…

Some fans claim that Ticketmaster is allowing scalpers to operate and may be in violation of their own terms and conditions, regarding resale prices.

The Terms & Conditions state that a ticket, “may not be resold for an amount in excess of the face value of the ticket without the written consent of the issuer.” Fans who have tried to price their resale tickets at face value have been forced to price them higher.

ARMYs are now reaching out to Ticketmaster’s fan support for answers, hoping that changes will be made and scalpers will be barred from ticket sales.
