BTOB’s Minhyuk speaks on his recent wardrobe malfunction in recent interview

In a recent interview with a media portal, BTOB member Minhyuk opened up on his recent wardrobe malfunction that occurred during the group’s stage.

On July 9th, BTOB held their stage on Mnet‘s M! Countdown during its outdoor special concert, performing their new track “I’m Okay” when Minhyuk’s pants burst open, revealing his red underwear underneath to viewers and audience.

In regards to the incident, Minhyuk joked, “I am responsible for red in BTOB. Starting today, please call me ‘The Red.'”

Following the wardrobe malfunction on stage, Minhyuk apparently gained even more followers on his SNS account with one of his tweets getting retweeted over 10,000 times.

Minhyuk continued, “Even though I couldn’t see it with my eyes, I could feel the moment my pants ripped. There was still over 2 minutes left of the performance and I couldn’t just leave the stage. I couldn’t not dance, so I kept my legs together as I danced. As soon as we stepped down from the stage, my manager hyung hugged and patted me on the back.”

Regarding to the fact that the cameras caught the incident and it was aired live, the BTOB member said, “Even though I was embarrassed, I’d like to think it was a sacrifice for spreading the name of BTOB since many people enjoyed the moment.”

Released on June 29th, BTOB made a comeback with their very first studio album Complete and are currently promoting their title track “It’s Okay.”
