Angelina Jolie Leases Luxury Apartment In Seoul As Son Maddox Begins Studying At Yonsei University

South Korea may be seeing a bit more of Angelina Jolie

Oscar winning actress Angelina Jolie was recently spotted around Seoul, as she toured Yonsei University’s campus with her oldest son Maddox.

Students at Yonsei University had the chance to meet Jolie, who was described as down-to-earth, polite and open to taking photos.

This was her second time in Seoul with Maddox, although it was her last before he started college.

She was spotted enjoying all the city had to offer, including its delicious cuisine and beauty products.

It was reported that Angelina Jolie had recently signed a lease for a luxury apartment in Seoul.

The apartment is in Gwanghwamun which is around five kilometres from Yonsei University’s Seoul campus.

It has been presumed that this resident will be intended for Maddox to live in, and also for Angelina to be able to come visit throughout the year, given how close mother and son are.

The apartment is high-security and in proximity to Yonsei. It seems Jolie clinched the contract also because she is planning to visit Korea frequently.

Additionally, Jolie has travelled to Seoul previously as a special envoy to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, meaning that she may also be in Korea for official missions.

Meanwhile, many Korean netizens have been approving of the lease, with some even being starstruck at having a Hollywood actress now having a home in Seoul.

Wow… hearing that a Hollywood actress has a home in Korea now sounds both cool and amazing, especially since you can feel her love for her child

Imagine your neighbor being Angelina Jolie…? ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Maddox was accepted to the Underwood International College of Yonsei University, which is the only liberal arts college in South Korea and the only college at Yonsei to teach all classes in English. Its acceptance rate is approximately 13%.

It is stated that he chose Yonsei University, due to his great interest in Korea, and he has been learning the language for the past year in preparation for this experience.
