AleXa Crowned First-Ever Winner Of NBC’s “American Song Contest”

Congratulations, AleXa!

Last week, K-Pop solo artist AleXa advanced to the finals of NBC‘s reality music competition show American Song Contest, hosted by Kelly Clarkson and Snoop Dogg.

This new show is essentially America’s take on Eurovision Song Contest. In this singing competition show, 56 artists represent 50 states, five territories, and the country’s capital perform dazzling renditions of original songs. So, AleXa represents her home state of Oklahoma and, of course, K-Pop!

She has stunned everyone with her new song “Wonderland” and performances, including killer vocals, choreography, and visuals.

Winners are selected by America’s votes. So, AleXa and her friends throughout the K-Pop music industry, including KARD‘s BM, MAMAMOO‘s Moonbyul, Eric Nam, Golden Child, ONEWE, OMEGA X, Purple Kiss, GHOST9, and more, have been urging fans to vote.

The voting has surely paid off! Now, AleXa has officially been crowned the first-ever winner of American Song Contest.

We’re so proud of you, AleXa! Congratulations. It is a well beyond deserved win.

AleXa will perform “Wonderland” this upcoming Sunday at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards too. So, we can look forward to another showstopping performance from the queen herself. She will be the second K-Pop artist but the first female K-Pop artist to perform at the event.

Of course, AleXa is no stranger to competition shows. Previously, she competed on Rising Legends in 2016 and Produce 48 in 2018 before making her solo debut with Bomb in 2019.
