We are definitely soft!

When it comes to the careers of the cast of the Netflix series Squid Game, it seems like nothing could be a bigger achievement. Yet for actor Park Hae Soo, who plays Jo Sang Woo, it seems as if he was inundated with a lot of huge milestones all at once!

The cast recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, with host Jimmy Fallon where they spoke about the inspiration behind the creepy doll, when they realized they were famous, and much more.

In particular, Jimmy pointed out that Park Hae Soo had recently become a father. Yet, if that wasn’t good enough news, the child was actually born on the day that Squid Game first premiered.

Park Hae Soo pointed out that the Squid Game premiere was at 4pm (KST) and that his son was born on that same day, and why that feels so significant to him.

It was quite amazing because the premiere of Squid Game was at 4pm KST, and the first time I got to meet my son was at 3:50. So he is my lucky charm and a bundle of blessing for me.

If that wasn’t enough, Park Hae Soo pointed out that he and his friends have a special nickname for his son because of the time he was born. He explained that they all call him “Baby Squid” because of the fact he was born on that day and seems like a good luck charm. Even Jimmy couldn’t get over the cuteness.

When the interview was released, fans online couldn’t get over the cuteness of this nickname. It will be interesting to see how long it lasts and whether that becomes his permanent nickname!

As always, the cast proved just how humble and charismatic they were during their appearance. Hopefully, with the show’s success rising continuously, fans will get a chance to see the cast on more shows.
