Since K-Pop stylists rotate the same clothes between groups, some pieces make an appearance on different idols more than once. One of those pieces is Ralph Lauren‘s signature cricket sweater.
Valued as high as $330 USD, the gray sweater embroidered with a crown and the letters “P.R.L.F.C.” has been seen on five male idols. Here’s how each of them made it fit their own style.
1. SEVENTEEN’s THE8
For the January 2021 edition of Harper’s Bazaar magazine, SEVENTEEN graced multiple covers for readers to enjoy. Standing in a field of wheat, THE8, Mingyu, and DK effortlessly delivered the look of bundling up for cool weather.
With THE8 fully facing front, his Ralph Lauren sweater was on full display. Going for an outfit that was relaxed yet put-together, THE8 wore a light blue shirt underneath it along with a pair of medium wash jeans.
2. TXT’s Soobin
For TXT’s appearance on KBS‘s Music Bank, leader Soobin went for a look that highlighted his tall height and slim figure. Rather than wearing it as a simple sweater, he wore it as a crop top with an open collar and plain pants.
When the group took the stage for their title track “Blue Hour”, it not only showed off his toned abs but fit the playful vibe of the song.
3. ENHYPEN’s Jake
Taking after his HYBE senior, ENHYPEN’s Jake was seen rocking the same sweater around the time of the group’s debut showcase. Fans couldn’t resist poking fun at how differently the two wore it. While Soobin cropped it, Jake went for an oversized look.
For their performance of “10 Months”, Jake wore an unbuttoned blue shirt underneath the sweater, a blue necktie, and dark, baggy pants. The comfy and carefree look not only matched the adorable stage but fit Jake’s soft personality.
4. BTOB’s Eunkwang
Continuing the laid-back style, BTOB’s Eunkwang styled the Ralph Lauren sweater similarly to Jake. Unlike everyone else, though, he made one single change that elevated his look. Eunkwang didn’t layer anything underneath the sweater and opted for super loose pants for a simple yet chic look.
5. ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo
As one of the main leads in the popular webtoon-turned-drama True Beauty, ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo pulled off the role of student Lee Su Ho effortlessly. Wearing a simple hairstyle, he wore a white shirt and a colorful necktie that perfectly matched the sweater for a chic but wearable uniform. Cha Eunwoo wasn’t the only actor spotted wearing the shirt, either.
In an episode of the wildly popular drama Penthouse, a few eagle-eyed fans spotted the popular sweater on actor Bong Tae Gyu.
