Tony Ahn will debut his first girl group under his agency, TN Entertainment

Tony Ahn, a member of the legendary South Korean boy group H.O.T, will be debuting his first girl group under his agency, TN Entertainment, within the first half of 2015.

On February 10th, OBS News acquired information from an industry official that Tony Ahn is currently in the works of debuting a five-member girl group that he himself had been planning and producing for within the last couple of months.

One representative of the industry stated, “He is currently planning on debuting a girl group consisting of five members. Neither the group name nor title song have been decided on yet, but they are planning to debut sometime within the first half of 2015.

This will be Tony Ahn’s very first production of a girl group and the first group to debut under TN Entertainment since SMASH‘s debut back in 2008.

Despite his absence from the entertainment industry since his recent gambling controversies that sprouted in early 2014, Tony Ahn and his new girl group have been garnering a lot of attention from netizens and fans alike, especially due to his status as a veteran idol star.

Tony Ahn first debuted in 1996 with H.O.T, SM Entertainment‘s very first boy group that became the start to a new generation in K-pop history. A few years following the disbandment of H.O.T, Tony Ahn founded TN Entertainment in 2004 where he helped Yoo Ho Seok, a former member of Click B, debut as a solo artist in 2007.
